Fees for MSP, ICBC,Worksafe (WCB) & Extended Health

Subsequent - $50.00

There are several programs available that cover partial or all of the treatment expenses for patients.  If you are eligible for any of these programs, our office can assist you with obtaining coverage.  We can also answer any questions you may have.

 


 

Medical Service Plans (MSP)

M.S.P. provides partial coverage only for persons on premium assistance. If you are currently enrolled in the MSP Premium Assistance Program, MSP contributes a portion of the office fee and patients are responsible for the remainder. The direct cost to patients is $42.00 for the first visit and $25.00 for any subsequent visits. In a calendar year, premium assistance patients are allowed a total combined limit of 10 visits for the following services: acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy, naturopathy, physical therapy and non-surgical podiatry. 
 
Fees related to x-ray examinations, insurance reports, and requested letters are not covered by MSP and are the patient's responsibility. No referral is required.
 

 

WorkSafeBC

Chiropractic office visit fees, reports and x-rays are paid for workers who are injured on the job and qualify for Worksafe benefits are covered for eight weeks of chiropractic treatment at no cost.  Injured persons should consult our office immediately following injuryTreatment may not coincide with additional treatments (eg. physiotherapy) without prior approval from WorkSafeBC. No referral is required.
 

 

ICBC

Coverage is provided for office visits and x-rays for injuries resulting from motor vehicle accidents.  Our office will provide fee details.  An approved claim number will be required to initiate billing and we will also require information about the accident.  We will provide a medical legal report and attend court when requested by your legal representative.  Contact our office as soon as possible if you have been involved in a crash. No referral is required.
 

 

Extended Health Plan Benefits

Patients may receive, from most extended health benefit plans such as Pacific Blue Cross, varying levels of reimbursement for chiropractic treatment fees.  Contact your employer's Human Resources department or ask your benefits provider directly about your coverage for chiropractic treatment. Our office will help with the completion of required forms and provide receipts that should be sent to your extended health benefits provider. No referral is required.
